服务贸易是当今国际贸易发展最为迅速的领域，随着世界经济结构的调整，服务贸易在一国经济贸易活动中占据越来越重要的位置，并成为衡量一国国际竞争力的重要标准。旅游服务贸易是当今世界服务贸易中发展最快的产业之一，是随着经济社会发展和人的生活质量提升而获得持续增长的产业。
近年来，我国旅游服务贸易发展迅猛，但本身也面临诸多问题。本文依据近年我国有关统计资料，通过对我国旅游服务贸易竞争力现状和影响因素进行研究，发现了客源市场不丰富，设施、服务不达标、民族地区旅游业开发不够、对旅游资源缺乏保护等诸多问题。本文就此提出了如下对策:刺激国内旅游需求与开拓海外市场相结合；积极开发民族旅游资源；实行保护、开发与创新并重的原则开发旅游资源。本文的研究和提出的对策，是为了促进我国旅游服务贸易发展水平的提高，使我国国民经济得到更快更好地发展。
