1.the post 0ffice says it hopes the two sides can come to an -agreement-.....at a branch meeting this evening. 2.the fire department -replied-........to the call within minutes on that night. 3.some drivers -obey-....speed laws only when they think the police are near. 4.the army was well-trained and well-armed, and had little diffculty -defeating- the enemy.
