The story took place several thousand years ago. Sauron had made a ring which could change the world. Sauron defeated the lord of people Elendil. Then, the son of Elendil called Isildur cut off the finger of Sauron and took the ring. Isildur decided to keep the ring. The ring could hide him when he wore it. When he didn’t wear it, a team killed him. The ring fell into water.Bilbo Baggins picked up the ring and kept it. After his birthday party, he gave it to Gandalf. Gandalf gave the ring to Frodo Baggins, and told him the only way to destroy it was to put it into the fire, which was made it.Samwise Gamgee had heard the talk with Gandalf and Frodo, so Gandalf asked him to go with Frodo. Samwise Gamgee was very honest. So Frodo went with Samwise Gamgee and other friends Meriadoc Brandybuck(Merry) and Peregrin Took(Pippin) went together.On their way to the fire, there were often different kinds of people and animals wanted to hurt them and took the ring. But they didn’t fail. There were also kind people wanted to help them. Aragorn helped them, and always protected them. When Frodo hurt, Arwen Undomiel made him alive. Boromir tried to protect them first, but he wanted to keep the ring. At last, he died with arrows. Gandalf was very kind, but when they fought with the monsters, he fell into the fire. The others were all very sad. Gimli joined their team. After they arrived at a forest, they met Galadriel. She gave Frodo a bottle. She said the bottle could shine in dark. After a lot of wars, Frodo thought he couldn’t go with others anymore. He could only find the fire himself. But Samwise Gamgee wanted to go with him.
