(1)The doctor tried to reduce the patient's fear that he would die of his disease.
(2)The doctor tried to reduce the patient's fear of that he would die of his disease.
Are the two sentenses all true?Why?

第一句是正确的，第二句好像是错的。第一句"that he would die of disease" 作为同位语从句修饰fear第二句应改成"fear of dying of his disease"

一正确。that后引从句二错了，that前不能加介词，可以换成which

1对2错that前面不能有介词
