In order to get final products, we must use up a lot of consumables in the production process.
use up是用尽的意思，后面跟a lot of (许多）是不是有点矛盾啊？
还有整句怎么翻译？
up是指高，a lot of也是形容词，两个形容词不是不对了？还是up a lot of是个词组啊？
