uman Behavior in the Social Environment (HSBE) is part of the foundation
curriculum for Social Work Education, according to The
Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) (2004). According to the
Accreditation and Policy Standards, “Content includes empirically based theories

live, and the ways social systems promote or deter people in maintaining or
