During the construction period, the air pipelines shall be stored such to avoid pollution and damage. In addition, all air-transporting pipelines shall be installed in hygienically proper and clean state. In the installed state, it shall be possible to inspect, clean and disinfect, if necessary, all plant components at justified technical expenditure. To this end, access to the revision opening shall be ensured and must not be hindered by suspended ceilings, cable routes, pipelines or other trades. The foundation for outdoor technical systems and duct shall be 30 cm high on top of the water-bearing stratum. An equipment base frame of galvanized steel sheet (100 mm) shall be provided as load distributing structure between the units and the base.
A sound reducing strip shall be inserted between structure and base frame to prevent solid-borne noise transmission.
All roof-mounted ventilation equipment shall be weather-resistant and lined by galvanized steel sheet at the weather end. Behind it, the housing shall be provided with a 40 mm non?inflammable thermal insulation.
In order to ensure the air quality, particular attention shall be paid to the position of the intake openings and the type of air supply during planning. Hence the position of the outside air intake opening shall be selected such that no influence of other exhaust air, odor and other interfering sources is possible.
Air filters shall be designed such that they can be maintained, replaced and minimize the inflow of germs and/or dusts. One filter stages F7 with fine filters shall be provided in the fresh air. There are to be two filter stages (F4 + F7) in the extracted air. The extent of filter clogging shall be readable from outside at suitable instruments (e.g. differential pressure indicator).
Silencers shall be arranged in the outside air volume flow downstream of the first filter stage. In addition, it must be possible to clean the unit.
