来自徐志摩诗集Will-O-the-wisp(LonelyistheSoulthatseestheVision……)我是个无依无伴的小孩，无意地来到生疏的人间：我忘了我的生年与生地，只记从来处的草青日丽；青草里满泛我活泼的童心，好鸟常伴我在艳阳中游戏；我爱啜野花上的白露清鲜，爱去流涧边照弄我的童颜，我爱与初生的小鹿儿竞赛，爱聚砂砾仿造梦里的亭园；我梦里常游安琪儿的仙府，白羽的安琪儿，教导我歌舞；我只晓天公的喜悦与震怒，从不感人生的痛苦与欢娱；所以我是个自然的婴孩，误入了人间峻险的城围：我骇诧于市街车马之喧扰，行路人尽戴著忧惨的面罩；铅般的烟雾迷障我的心府，在人丛中反感恐惧与寂寥；啊！此地不见了清涧与青草。更有谁伴我笑语，疗我饥＊；我只觉刺痛的冷眼与冷笑，我足上沾污了沟渠的泞潦；我忍住两眼热泪，漫步无聊，漫步著南街北巷，小径长桥，我走近一家富丽的门前，门上有金色题标，两字「慈悲」；金字的慈悲，令我欢慰，我便放胆跨进了门槛，慈悲的门庭寂无声响，堂上隐隐有阴惨的偶像；偶像在伸臂，似庄似戏，真骇我狂奔出慈悲之第；我神魂惊悸慌张地前行，转瞬间又面对「快乐之园」；快乐园的门前，鼓角声喧，红衣汉在守卫，神色威严；游服竞鲜艳，如春蝶舞翩跹，园林里阵阵香风，花枝隐现；吹来乐音断片，招诱向前，赤穷孩蹑近了快乐之园！守门汉霹雳似的一声呼叱，震出了我骇愧的两行急泪；我掩面向僻隐处飞驰，遭罹了快乐边沿的尖刺；黄昏。荒街上尘埃舞旋，凉风里有落叶在呜咽；天地看似墨色螺形的长卷，有孤身儿在蜘蹰，似退似前；我仿佛陷落在冰寒的阱锢，我哭一声我要阳光的暖和！我想望温柔手掌，偎我心窝，我想望搂我入怀，纯爱的母；我悲思正在喷泉似的溢涌，一闪闪神奇的光，忽耀前路；光似草际的游萤，乍显乍隐，又似暑夜的飞星，窜流无定；神异的精灵！生动了黑夜，平易了途径，这闪闪的光明；闪闪的光明，消解了恐惧，启发了欢欣，这神异的精灵：昏沈的道上，引导我前进，一步步离远人间进向天庭；天庭！在白云深处，白云深处，有美安琪敛翅羽，安眠未醒，我亦爱在白云里安眠不醒，任清风搂抱，明星亲吻殷勤；光明！我不爱人间，人间难觅安乐与真情，慈悲与欢欣；光明，我求祷你引致我上凳天庭，引挈我永住仙神之境；我即不能上攀天庭，光明，你也照导我出城围之困，我是个自然的婴儿，光明知否，但求回复自然的生活优游；茂林中有餐不罄的鲜柑野栗，青草里有享不尽的意趣香柔……
