When a voice call is received,the unit will ring 3 to 6 times depending on the setting of the silent fax recognition ring.
When a fax call is received,the unit will start to receive fax documents without ringing.
The unit will answer every call and start fax communication.
The unit will not automatically answer incom calls,you must answer every call.
When an external telephone answering machine(TAM) is connected to the ext.jack,the unit will automatically receive fax documents and the tam will record voice calls.
Handset volume
Press "volume" while handset is off hook.(3 levels)
Speaker volume
Press "volume" while using speaker fhone.(8 levels)
Press "volume" while phone not in use.(high/lou/off)
WHen turning ringer off,press "start/set" while confirmayicn message is displayed .
Ppogramming phone numbers
1.Press "#" then 2 digit number (00 to 21),or direct call key.
2.Enter phone number using dial key-pad.
3.Press "start/"set" to save.
4.Enter name using dial key-pad abd direct call keys.
5.Press "start/set" to save.
6.Pepeat sieps 1 to 5.
* Press "menu" to exit.
