IE6不支持CSS样式设定的链接颜色吗?

我用CSS样式定义了链接颜色，比如.menuFont a:link{color:#ffffff;}当然，写了这个.menuFont{ color:#FFFFFF; font-size:14px; font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight:bold;} 我在IE7里面看，确实是我定义的这个颜色效果，可是用IE6看，却不是，还是那个自动默认的link颜色。定义鼠标经过颜色倒是两个浏览器都行，请教高手们如何解决
