时态用过去时没错吧，而且后面是i did not go towork，这个句子又没有强调一直在学法语这个状态，只是说没工作就去学法语了啊
不是经常有改写句子说i did not go to work ,i taught myself English instead=i taught myself English instead of going to work吗
