If you want to read and write Chinese in AlphaSmart Dana, you can try CJKOS, it's not designed for Dana but for palmOS. Also you can try "J-OS for Dana" if you want to read or write Japanese. But it is impossible to input Chinese/Japanese in AlphaWord even you installed them.
If CJKOS and J-OS are both installed in your dana, in order to use J-OS normally, CJKOS must be disabled. On the other hand, if you want to use CJKOS independently, J-OS can be enabled without any problem.
Please note both of them are shareware.
DIY a wide-screen version of your favourite program?
Some programs, like CardTXT, Frobnitz, Xiino3, can be modified to a wide-screen version by RsrcEdit tool. The trick is change the "width" and/or "scrollbar" values in "tFRM NNNN". Maybe you want to read this thread to get details.
