We've been under the impression that there may be a way to sway the NTP via their Technical Review Committee's (TRC) review of the full study upon release, where we would be able to present data to encourage them to either derail the entire study and to not release their report, or to modify the report to clearly differentiate the ingredient used in the study from that used in finished products for oral consumption. What we now know is the TRC is a group of experts that reviews the study as it was conducted, and makes a determination as to the validity of the researchers' recommendations.
