In America,people often wear blue jeans.It has become a mode of dress in America.Jeans are not only prectical,but also very fashionable.It all began with Levi Strauss.a man from Germany.In 1850,he arrived in San Francisco,during the middle of the Gold Rush.He thought the miners could use stronger pants,so he took some canvas and made it into pants.Later,he used a softer fabric.He dyed it blue to give the pants a more interesting loo.Today the company he started is known around the world.
