there will not be enough space {to stand in on} the earth. 为什么不能用to stand on，而且stand in 不是代替的意思吗，为什么不能直接用stand，stand不是可作及物动词也可作不及物动词的吗？
这个是be enough +名词+ to do 的结构，括号没加错，我是想问为什么要用to stand in,on the earth，不能用to stand,on the earth。

stand in (in the space)in是和space连用的，强调在space里面而后面的on则是与the earth连用， on the earthin the space on the earth
