The computer controlling the system 是主语此时controlling是作为动名词的（相当于是名词）这一大串的名词组成computer controlling the system来做主语的。而controlled,controlls的性质是动词，所以不行啊

现在分词(Ving)做定语：Do you know the boy standing at the door? ------Do you know the boy who is standing at the door?

因为是 computer 主动发出的动作所以用controlling 而不用 controlled后面有这句话的谓语动词 could use所以不用 controls

could use 是谓语动词，所以control用非谓形式主动语态，所以用controlling
