请高手看一哈这个句子语法有没有问题？应当怎么改？
In the present spin-orbit calculations contributions arising from interaction of the few states, explicitly included into the spin-orbit Hamiltonian, with higher-lying states were not accounted for.

读不通,有问题什么叫 calculations contributions ?两个名词主语?我不理解。。。
