Make sure the foundation is flat and stable in order to avoid deformation and dents in the surface and of the terrace.
?Always maintain the indicated mounting distance.
?Be aware of material extension and leave always enough space(min.5cm) around your terrace especially to obstacles (pic.2 in the catalog).
?Never install the floor boards on the head side immediately next to each other, but apply at least 5mm space between the boards (pic.5 in the catalog).
?To ensure proper drainage the deck should slope min 0.5cm/m.
? Each end of the boards should be supported and fixed. The end of each board preferably on the same highs as the joist. If this is not possible the boards should overlie min.3cm and overlap max. 5cm (pic.3 in the catalog)
?The beginning and finishing plank must be fixed with screws through the side groove of the boards (pic.6 in the catalog)
?When screws are fixed closer than 3cm to the edge of a board,we advice to pre-drill in order to avoid splitting the board (pic.6 in the catalog)
?In order to guarantee a stable terrace we advice to stagger the boards with a min. difference of 50cm (pic.5 in the catalog)
?If using a power tool,we advise to adjust the tool in such a fashion that the screws cannot be fixed too tight.
?We recommend to place anti-rot foil under the construction.
?If the terrace isn’t installed straight away.store the boards and joists horizontal and with adequate support.
