- Manage and co-ordinate the purchasing and supply function to ensure materials are delivered on-time and within quality and cost parameters;
- Negotiate the purchase of major contract items and quantities at prices that favourably meet the organisations margin and production requirements;
- Participate in contractual negotiations with major suppliers of materials, with other members of the management group;
- Manage a team of purchasing specialists and ensure the department supports NDA from an operational perspective.
