都是表示“取代”，但是词性完全不同instead是副词，是修饰动词的，一般放在句子末尾If you are busy，you may come another day insteadinstead of既可以当成是介词词组（复合介词），其后接名词、代词、动名词：We may use this substances instead of soap.又可以当成连词词组（复合并列连词），其后接动词（连谓语）、形容词、副词（连状语）：Things fall to the earth instead of go up into the air（连谓语，注意of后面不是动名词）
