请教一个英语问题

The children (play) the violin over there will go on the stage next week.
用括号里词语的适当形式填空,我觉得写are playing比较合适,但正确答案却是playing,难道是我的错了吗?还是答案有误?

你错了就是添playing记住一句话里不能有两个谓语动词在句子里已经有will了所以你又添了一个are是错误的 playing the violin over there是作The children的定语希望你能明白呵呵

,playing the violin 做The children 的定语,指演奏小提琴的孩子们这句话可以改写成定语从句 The children (who are playing )the violin over there will go on the stage

有一个考点是非谓，这里就是主语与该动词呈主动关系就要用ing的形式
