两个句子在意思上都一样，理解起来无歧义。但是第一句从书面上说是不合语法的，严格地说应该为They sell dolls (about four feet tall).第二句比较拗口，严格地说应改为They sell about four-foot-tall dolls. 连字符，以及foot数的变化。...

不能说：they sell about four feet tall dolls. dolls 的定语太长了，而且也没这么说的。...

or you can say The dolls which they sell is about four feet tall...
