本系统因其采用的是C/S模式，具有三个特点是：网络开销小，开发工具丰富，技术成熟。C/S结构：客户端/服务器端，C/S的程序通常也叫胖客户端，也就是一个程序的大部分功能，都在客户端实现，而服务器端只实现一小部分功能，在系统功能演示的时候不难发现这一特点。系统设计依照标准化、规范化，分层设计，构件化实现。采用软件构件化的开发方式，以统一的服务接口规范为核心，使用开放标准。从功能上来说，本系统是比较完备的，系统以Web界面与用户交互，为用户提供信息并接受其操作，同时通过数据库管理系统来存储信息数据。系统实现了对信息数据的浏览、查询、编辑和管理等基本数据库操作，采用了模块化设计方法，方便了程序的扩展与维护。
