Basically I agree with above answer, but it still depends on how you set up the contract with your Irinian seller. Two factors in your contract: 1. force majure clause: if you have this clause which includes the war risk, you are legally off the hook. If not, then dispute arises. 2. Dispute clause: Normally, buyer and seller set up dispute clause by using arbitration, which is cheaper and effective. If you do not have dispute clause, the seller can sue you in a court. Note that suing your company could be expensive and lasting long time. Aritration is fast, also enforceable in most of countries including China.
