As my company grew and my dreams materialized, giving me the opportunity to work for institutional pension funds and assets to the tune of several billion dollars and to nurture the growth and financial health of organizations like my top client, the National Education Association, with its millions of members, I lived out that other dream of getting to travel and see the world.
As busy as I am, wherever I am, I try to get out and walk the streets, to check out the sidewalks for cracks, to remember how far I’ve come and appreciate every baby step of the way, to stand in amazement and joy that the pursuit never ends.
