英语主谓一致问题

因为句子的主语是the traits，The traits..... are another reason for the success of the aged elite. 你的理解，把“another reason”当做主语，是完全可以的。这时候就可以用is，本人认为没有任何问题。这里只是顺着答案“are”的思路给你一个解释。...

倒过来应该是这样的The traits they formed earlier in their lives are the another reason for the success of the aged elite.你看traits就是用的复数，所以就用are而不是is ....

因为traits是复数，而their同样也有复数的意思...
