The MP6 was a microprocessor designed by Rise Technologies to compete with Intel's Pentium line of CPU's. The firm spent 5 years developing the processor. When development was completed in 1998, the result was an underpowered processor without support for MMX. Rise Technologies closed up shop less than a year later. Since then Rise Technology has licensed intellectual property to SiS in October 1999.来自Wikipedia
