My hometown is a small countryside town. As I haven't been back to my hometown since 1992, I don't know its population. There are several hills and fields and a river. When I was young, I loved to climb up a hill near my home, and sometimes I did it with my classmates. We always held races to see who will get to the top first. I also remember the river we had to cross, when we went to school. Sometimes, we swam instead of crossing the bridge. During holidays, we were trying to catch small fish in the river. I had such a good times!I like my hometown more than the city which I live now, although people in my hometown are very poor. This is because the children are forced by their parents to quit learning and work in the cities after middle school. Thus, my hometown is getting poorer and poorer.I think I will come back to my hometown after graduating from university to make it more beautiful.

When we arrived at the top of the hill, we always had a race, because we all wanted to know who was the first. I also remember when we went to school, we had to pass a river. Sometimes we didn’t crossed the bridge, we swimed in the water.. In holiday we could catch the small fish in the river. What a good time I had!I like my hometown more than the city which I live in, but people here are very poor. Because when the children only have finished junior middle school, they’re parents forced them to leave school, and go to cities to find work. And that makes the hometown poorer and poorer.I think I’ll come back to my hometown to build it more and more beautiful after finishing the university.仅供参考
