i sat down是主谓语，意为“我坐着”，facing her 是状语，意为“面对着她”， 剩余部分也是状语，意为“隔了几张桌子的地方”，不用帮你连起来了吧？...

At least there should be an "a" in front of "couple" and a period at the end of the sentence....
