Developer is an application development tool,
and database is the server that the application connect to.
Developer doesnot has version 8.0.x yet, the most recent should be 6i release 3,
and it incl.udes net8, sqlplus 8.0.x,
sqlnet2 -net8 的c/s 可以互相连接。
And as a beginner, i suggest u install the client and server into diffirent machines, to avoid more conflicts. |
