How To Uninstall Legato Server Manager
Notes: legato not work with oracle, then libobk.so($ORACLE_HOME/lib) should be linked to libdsbtsh8.so if it work with oralce, then libobk.so should be linked to liblsm.so
Steps:
1.Shutdown Oracle Instances that use this ORACLE_HOME for backups.
2.Remove $ORACLE_HOME/lib/liblsm.so and create link from libobk.a to libdsbtsh8.a
cd $ORACLE_HOME/lib
rm libobk.so
rm liblsm.so
rm libobk.a
ln -s libdsbtsh8.a libobk.a
3.Relink Oracle
4.cd $ORACLE_HOME/lib
make -f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle
5.Restart the Instance that use this ORACLE_HOME
6.As a root user, stop the Legato Storage Manager daemons using commands:
"#nsr_shutdown"
7.As root user, remove the Legato Storage Manager software using the following setld command:
# setld -d ORCLSERV550 ORCLNODE550 ORCLCLNT550 ORCLMAN550
8.Enter yes at each prompt asking if you wish to continue. Also, enter yes at the prompt asking whether to deinstall/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Networker.
----------------------------------------------
If we just wanna stop Legato, use "#nsr_shutdown" command after instance down and use "ps -ef|grep nsr" to verify all legato processes are gone.and then, vi "/etc/inittab" file and comment out the following line:
"rcnsr:2:wait:sh /etc/rc.nsr",
and then startup instance.
-----------------------------------------------
another solution:
Once root.sh has completed the LSM installation, you can verify that all required subsets were installed with the following command:
# setld -i | grep -i ORCL
ORCLCLNT200
installedLegato Storage Manager Client
ORCLMAN200 installedLegato Storage Manager Man Pages
ORCLNODE200
installedLegato Storage Manager Storage Node
ORCLSERV200
installedLegato Storage Manager Server
To pre-install for LSM,then:
1.As root, shutdown the LSM daemons.
# nsr_shutdown
or
# /usr/opt/networker/bin/NSRstartstop stop
2.Use the setld command to remove individual, or all of the LSM subsets. Some subsets depend on each other,
remove in the following order:
ORCLSERV200, ORCLNODE200, ORCLCLNT200, ORCLMAN200
# setld -d
We can use "setld -i | grep -i ORCL" command at post-install, and we can start and stop LSM use "/etc/init.d/networker start/stop" commands. |
