Have you received a HATE, ABUSIVE or HOAX e-mail message?
If you believe you have received a questionable, abusive or hoax e-mail that appears to come from (ISC)2,
CURRENTLY: (ISC)2 is the target of an ongoing malicious hoax e-mail campaign from one individual. It appears an Australian candidate for our professional certification failed the exam and has resorted to using highly unethical tactics to sully our good name because of his failure.
This individual's latest e-mail has the subject line of "Sept 11, the reason for last years attack on WTC," and is a hate-filled diatribe against Jewish people. He attempts to implicate our Webmaster, Wilfred Camilleri, as the author and includes reference to the Univeristy of Toronto (Canada). We have determined that the contents of this e-mail are derived from a hate-based Website and were intentionally sent to those of the Jewish faith to give our organization the appearance of anti-Semitism. (ISC)?does not condone, encourage, or support such views and denounces the espousal of them for any purpose.
The web site for the National Headquarters of the Anti-Defamation League is allowing (ISC)2 to communicate the background of this fraudulent and heinous e-mail to its visitors (go to WWW.ADL.ORG). The ADL supports (ISC)2 in its condemnation of this e-mail and the individual perpetrating these hoaxes.
