[UNIX]链结文件的备份

如：
/etc/hosts文件是指向/etc/file/hosts的链结。
我用备份软件备份/etc/hosts文件，测试恢复出来的只是一个符号联结。
请问如何才能备份真实的文件？

/etc/hosts文件不应该是一个链接呀，ls -l /dev/hosts 一下看是不是链接。

or directories. Normally, the tar command does not follow symbolic links.
试验：
tar chvf test.tar test
会将test目录中的link当作普通文件来备份。
