The format is proprietary. The closest you can get is the controlfile dump:
alter session set events 'immediate trace name controlf level 10'
Technically, the interpretation of the trace file is actually also confidential information. But you can find some description in some books (such as Rama Velpuri's backup book) or web site (www.rigreen.freeserve.co.uk).
The only thing documented is the trace file from
alter database backup controlfile to trace
which gives limited information.
