Principal responsibilities:
Drive the delivery of Online system and Online content enhancements
- Implement the IT CBA and Chartering process for all non-baseline projects.
- Understand the technical concepts of online applications ensuring end-to-end process and navigation, defining features/functionality requirements and applying Global Online standards.
- Lead the project UAT by working closely with IT Online and Online Business Managers, develop the user training document to ensure the smooth launch of the project.
- Actively work with IT Online to develop the strategy to improve profitability and productivity of the Online channel through the employment of new technological advances e.g. internet architecture, B2B, Frictionless, E-marketplaces, E-support.
- Benchmark the online features/functionalities against other regional andeSolutions, competitors and other BOB internet sites and use this data to define the development roadmap.
- In conjunction with IT Online and regional Online Business Managers, prepare, prioritize, agree and communicate to the business communities an integrated quarterly development integrated roadmap.
- Ensure that relevant business segments have bought-into the enhancement requirements and that each project has a defined owner and sponsor.
- Communicate regularly with Online Business Managers to review progress against the online performance targets including the content/application development plans.
- Own and drive the adoption of Global eSolutions for APJ Online
- As required, own enhancement projects that have a global, regional or cross-functional focus e.g. Legal and export requirements.
Online reporting & analysis
- Actively review and report on the online performance impact from technological enhancements e.g. P&L, e-Penetration/e-Revenue, Conversion etc., including comparison with business case goals.
- Prepare and present this data as part of the online business and management reviews to report on effectiveness of feature/functionality changes.
Evangelist for Online
- Become the expert for Online technology and drive awareness and understanding of the online business at all levels.
- Foster a "one-team" approach between all participating groups such as COC, Pricing, IT (Ops, Content & Development), Marketing, Sales and other Online Business team members.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in Program/Project management with a track record of measurable results and delivery of technological solutions. Preferably with the IT or Internet-related industries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant area.
- Good working knowledge of Internet technologies
- Good business analysis skills and experience in preparing business cases.
- Good organizational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and lines of business in a virtual organization.
- Excellent spoken and written skills in English and Japanese. Other Asian languages may be of benefit e.g. Mandarin, Traditional Chinese or Korean.
- Work experience in the APJ region would be preferable.
