Seeking an experienced software engineer on Linux Kernel porting and device driver development. He/She will touch the core technology in Consumer Electronics Field and join R&D team in PRC CEG Software Group to design, develop, porting and enabling Embedded Linux. Kernel on XScale or IA32 based Consumer Electronics Platform. This includes customize Linux. Kernel for Embedded System, Device Driver Design and Development, System Level optimization and tuning, and troubleshoot as well as developing boot loader. Requires good knowledge of Linux kernel, Device Driver Architecture, Computer architecture and XScale or IA32 based hardware system; Requires strong design and development expertise in C / ASM and software architecture. Requires strong communication skills with the ability to work in teams spread across multiple sites including international locations; Requires a BS or MS in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering with 3+ years working experience.
