Oracle On Demand is a new method for delivery and management of software. Until recent years software was delivered on a compact disc. When problems arise, the Customer picks up the phone, contacts the software vendor's support organization which seeks to replicate, diagnose, and fix the problems. This process is often time consuming and not efficient. Oracle has been working on a new method for the delivery and management of software for several years. This new paradigm is "software as a managed service".
