China Data Analyst for Sales and Marketing
Department Name:

Reporting Structure:
Reporting to China Sales and Marketing IT Manager.
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1.
Data Analysis and Support
a.
Gather business rules/ requirements from business partners and develop logical data models based on the business rules and requirements.
b.
Responsible for the data quality analyst by ensuring that data related activities meet quality requirements.
c.
Responsible for data architecture design and review.
d.
Design data migration/conversion as required.
e.
Detailed design of data structures incorporating entities and their relationships.
f.
Partner with business and provide data support and data analysis.
g.
Promote and implement the corporate data architecture on projects, by complying with Enterprise Data Model (EDM), Enterprise Data Sharing Strategy (EDSS) and data naming conventions.
h.
Establish and maintain close working relationships with business partners, data stewards, project teams, systems analysts, data neighborhood analysts (DNA), data sharing analysts, and database administrators (DBA).
i.
Understand which data / information is relevant for the business.
2.
Project Support
a.
Responsible for on-going support to Sales Force Automation systems and Sales Online system
b.
Responsible for managing Change Control Process for Sales and Marketing projects.
c.
Responsible for on-going supporting China Data Warehouse and Data Mart.
Job Requirements:
?
Strong capability in SQL programming.
?
Strong data interpretation, problem solving and analytical skills.
?
3+ year relevant working experience in data analysis and data modeling activities; experience of DBA is an advantage.
?
Experience of Data Warehouse and Data Mart is and advantage.
?
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
?
Strong ability to present the analytical results through PowerPoint or Excel formats.
?
Innovative, imaginative and creative thinker, able to show strong initiative and demonstrate good commercial thinking.

Technical Requirements:
1.
Experience with modeling / OLAP tools and reporting software; experience of Business Objects is an advantage.
2.
Proficient with Oracle is a must; experience of SQL server is a plus.
