Senior Software Engineers:
Requirements:
Prefer BSCS or BSEE or equivalent required (MS a +) with at least 5 years of related experience.
Must have working knowledge of C or C++ in a real time embedded processor environment.
Must have experience working with Linux or another real-time operating system
Should have experience with SetTop box (STB) or Digital TV (DTV)applications, middleware, and driver software design
Job Description:
Ability to single-handedly interface directly with customer. Lead customer meetings, conference calls and interactions.
Consult with management as required. File gnats (issue tracking tool) for customer issues. Project planning: Creates and
adheres to schedules, sets priorities, and delivers tasks in a timely manner. Coordinates multiple issues simultaneously.
Review customer requirements. Write Requirements and SOW documents. Project coordination: plan meetings, communicate with
marketing and FAE's.
Meeting: create agenda and meeting notes, lead meetings, follow-up with action items
Communication: - both verbally and in writing
Technical: Very proficient in all aspect of STB systems (More SW oriented)
Tools: MS Project, Issue tracking tools , ClearCase, Integrated Development Environment
Position: Field Applications Engineer
Location: Beijing
Responsibility:
- Support the company’s Enterprise Computing Group products to be designed and implemented in customers' project, mainly on
hardware application stack and debugging
- Support customers to design storage, chipset on server platforms, as well as LOM(Lan On Motherboard) on Notebook and
Desktop.
- Bridge/interface function between customers and internal S/W&H/W support groups
Requirement:
- 5+ years experience in server platform development, knowledgeable about current server architecture.
- Project management and communication skills
- Knowledge of the trend and new technology of PC related market.
- Experience in Broadcom Enterprise products or ServerWorks chipset design is preferred

Familiar with Capture, Allegro etc.

Familiar with operation procedure of BIOS and running flow of motherboard

Knowledge in TCP/IP protocol stack, as well asPXE, IPMI,ASF,TPM etc.

Knowledge of Raid stack, SATA, SAS protocolsetc.
