§Develop and monitor detailed program project plans.
§Lead cross-functional project team ensuring regular meetings of all affected team members, documentation of program throughout development, and resolution to everyday issues. As appropriate, create new program schedules and balance resources including work breakdown structure.
§Manage risks to program (prepare detailed risk analysis and prepare and monitor contingency plans).
§Meet or beat program deliverables for time, budget and high quality.
§Communicate program status to customer and regularly (weekly and monthly or more often as appropriate) communicate to management.
§Analyze impacts of potential new materials on program and lead efforts to reduce project cost.
§Light travel (possibly international) may be required.
Qualifications
§BA/BS in a technical or business discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
§Advanced Engineering or MBA is desired.
§A minimum of 10 years experience in project or program management positions is required. Experience in distributed project team management environment is strongly desired.
§A minimum of 5 years in R & D project management in a technology company is required.
§Experience with hardware, software and systems projects strongly desired.
§PMI or PMP certification is desired.
§Strong proven ability required to manage multiple customers (both internal and external to RadiSys).
§Strong written and verbal communications skills required with proven ability to effectively interface with customers worldwide.
§Demonstrated experience/ability to work with customers on requested on requested technical product and or/program changes.
§Understanding of new materials demand on projects.
