Senior UNIX System Administrator-UNIX资深系统管理员

Description:
The UNIX System Administrator is a member of a top UNIX System Administration Team responsible for eBay global UNIX services and infrastructure. Required to keep eBay's e-commerce business running 24x7.
Responsibilities:
Serves on cross-functional project teams as the UNIX platform
Builds, maintains and upgrades a multitude of Sun Solaris and Linux systems
Proficiency in trouble-shooting and performance tuning
Working in a demanding and fast-paced environment
Key Success Factors
Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction
Assumes total responsibility for work assigned and delivers on commitments
Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement of the computing environment
Passionate in UNIX technology
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent education
Experience Level: 5+ years UNIX SA experience in large enterprise system environment supporting mission-critical systems and applications. Ideally with experience in telecom, ISP, ICP and e-commerce company.
Technical Qualifications:
5+ years experience with Sun Solaris operating system
Experience with a variety of Sun server platforms
Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP networking and load balancing technology
Experience with Veritas Volume Manager and File System
Experience with Veritas Cluster
Experience with system monitoring and management software
Communication skills: Effective communication skills including written and verbal in English

Senior Search Engine Developer（C++/UNIX 高级搜索引擎工程师）

Job responsibilities:
?Define, architect and implement complex high-performance software applications in Search/Information retrieval domain using C++ on Solaris platform?
?Collaborate with architects, engineers, QA and Operations teams to architect and develop strategic and tactical solutions in the search domain.
?Lead and estimate engineering effort, plan implementations, and rollout for complex search applications with implications to cross-functional teams.
?Must be able to independently design, code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex applications.
?Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other team members.
?Implement proof-of-concept prototypes for complex infrastructure design.

Job requirements:
?BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (PhD a plus).
?5+ years of software development experience on high performance apps.
?Strong application development experience on C++/UNIX platform.
?Prior experience on multi-threading and network programming is required.
?Information retrieval experience is a plus.
?Working knowledge of relational databases (prefer Oracle), HTTP/HTML, and basic UNIX system scripting / administration.
?Good communication skills.
?Good English speaker.
