Deal Architect
Our client is a leading provider of communications solutions serving and services operating in 170 countries. The principal activities include networked IT services, local, national and international telecommunications services, and higher-value broadband and internet products and services. In order to cope with their business growth and increased investment in China, they now seek a Deal Architect to join their talented and motivated team. The position will be based in their Asia Pacific Pre-sales department and play an important in for the business process.
SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
?
To research, develop and pursue a detailed sector development plan to explore business opportunities in direct consultation with the customers.
?
To shape and develop specific business opportunities, closing deals, negotiating contract terms and pricing.
?
To work in conjunction with Sales and other parts of the company to pursue and win innovative, technologically advanced major Solutions & Propositions.
?
To create and win Outsourcing, IP, CRM, Managed Security and Mobility deals, to achieve financial targets for Order Value, Revenue and also Customer Satisfaction.
?
To meet individual financial targets for signing significant new business as agreed with their regional line manager.
?
To establish and maintain close working relationships with the account team who act as the direct channel to market.
?
To obtain all relevant inputs, preparing a risk register, shaping the proposition such that it meets both BT’s is articulated as closely as possible in the clients’ language and terminology.Work with all relevant groups to develop the final contract in readiness for hand-over to the Contract/Business Management team.
?
To ensure a consistent and seamless process for delivering all elements of a value-proposition through the BT process and to the market.
?
To develop commercial relationships with key third party suppliers and partners in the sub-region.
?
To easily familiarise with customers’ business objectives and be able to develop network centric solutions on a consultative basis.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
?
Minimum 5 years working experience solely driving and developing profitable business or equivalent business management qualifications and experience in an ICT / solutions outsourcing environment.
?
Degree in Business Administration, Business Finance or equivalent.
?
Highly skilled and experienced negotiator able to quickly build effective relationships, with senior, key influential external decision makers.
?
Visionary approach to securing profitable new business on long-term contracts.
?
Expert grasp of the technology and technical solutions available to drive commercial benefits.
?
Knowledge and experience of strategic business management, tax, scenario analysis & financial modelling, would be an advantage.
?
Good understanding of budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financing and capital structure, and funds management and due diligence processes is advantageous.
?
Sound business acumen with strong problem-solving skills and a capacity for lateral and strategic thinking through diverse experience and international exposure in resources, manufacturing, financial & retail industries.
?
Results oriented and focused analytical decision making.
The candidate will be expected to demonstrate solid business acumen, and be sensitive in the management of change.
