Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal System Architect in architecture Group, you will be primarily responsible for the architecture of our system. Our existing success in the wireless space is leading to the creation of new advanced mobile applications and the ongoing evolution of our core email and PIM application. This role places you in a challenging position through which you have the opportunity to influence the way millions of people use their mobile devices.
The right candidate will have experience with desktop and server applications, understand and have designed distributed protocols in high-availability systems, be able to lead a team of world-class developers, and have the vision to understand how esoteric technical details affect the way users see, hear, and experience the end-product.

Responsibilities include:
?Design of low-level protocols and APIs
?Overall ownership of system architecture
?Cross-functional influence of technical team members
?Creation of technical documents and specifications
?Working closely with developers implementing your designs
Educational Requirements:
?BSCS / MSCS or related technical degree
Required Skills & Experience:
?Minimum 7-12 yrs overall software development experience
?Minimum (in industry) experience developing server- or terminal-side wireless applications using C/C++ or Java technologies
?Proven ability to turn ideas and concepts into System design specification
?Demonstrated expertise in the specification of complex communications protocols
?Stellar problem solving skills
?Strong Communication skills: verbal and written
?Solid understanding of performance analysis and software optimization
?Strong team player, good work ethics, commitment to quality and team work

?Hands-on experience with:
- Wireless technologies (WAP, SyncML, Push-IMAP, iMode)
- Network technologies (HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP)
- Internet technologies (HTML/XML, JSP, IMAP, Servlets)
