Printed Circuit Assembly Technology Manager
This Manager of General Engineering will manage a multi-disciplined, virtual organization of highly qualified Manufacturing and Process Engineers who are tasked to provide PAN HP support and strategic technical direction for the PCA outsourcing supply chain. This organization consists of multiple levels of engineers ranging from Intermediate to Master level scientists and is considered the highest level of experience and expertise in PCA Technologists.
Responsibilities:

Manages exempt individual contributors with accountability for results of major programs in terms of cost, technical direction and people management.

Accountability for a small multi-disciplined organization with significant impact on multiple business units
?
Responsible for results and organizational strategy
?
Applies advanced PCA Technology knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies.
?
Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy of REPE and GES organizations.
?
Plans, directs and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' work may involve strategic issues.
?
Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall PCA Technology Strategy and the long-term goals of the organization.
?
Staff members' primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both.
?
Recruits and develops seed staff to replace very senior staff members.
?
Responsible for career development of direct staff members.
Minimum education requirements:
Typically a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience required) in Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or Electrical Engineering. Masters degree preferred. A plus would be 8 years of related experience.
Requirements include:

Working knowledge of PCA Assembly Engineeringand experience managing development or operation of PCA assembly lines, or related industries.
?
Extensive work experience in Assembly or Engineering or Engineering management.
?
Strong organizational skills
?
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
?
Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English and local language.
?
Ability to write and communicate technical information clearly and concisely
?
Use of Windows-based productivity tools (email, word processors, spreadsheets, etc.)
?
Familiarity with electronics hardware
