Job description
This job is an IT architect - application in presales team. The Solution Design need to understand customer business and technical requirement, and work out an application and system architecture in the format of proposal & SOW.
Required skills
1. Rich knowledge of major solutions in market and good understanding of their strength / weakness like IBM Websphere / Rational / Lotus / Tivoli / DB2, Oracle / Weblogic, BMC, HP, etc.
2. 8+ years system integration experience or application design/development experience;
3. Be familiar with SOA and/or application middleware infrastructure design;
4. Proven skill and experience to develop customer RFP, proposal and architecture design
5. Good industry knowledge in one or more of banking, telecom, industry or retail. Telecom BSS or core banking experience is preferred.
6. Capable to lead a team for complex solution development.
7. ITIL foundation/manager/expert certification is preferred.
8. Experience and knowledge of data warehousing and BI is preferred.
9. Experience and knowledge on IBM software(Tivoli, Websphere, Information Management, Rational and Lotus) is preferred
10. Good communication skill and presentation skill
11. Fluent English in both oral and written
12. Team player, self-motivated, quick learner.
