Java Designer
A Java designer/developer for a new web-based global application which is focused on data aggregation, product/position performance analytics and triggering/alerting based on existing and calculated data.The system will have multiple application interfaces and is based on an Oracle/Unix back end.Therefore, the ideal candidate needs experience designing and developing fast and intuitive web-based user interfaces which are highly responsive.
The surrounding technical environment is using the SDLC-lifecycle; however, the requirements for this project will be defined and tested in an iterative manner directly with the business analysts and business users as the business requirements evolve.
Technical Skills:
? 5 + years experience of web-based Java design and development. Specific language/components (JavaScript, JSP, CSS, jQuery, Spring, etc) are open for discussion, but must be written for high performance
? Preferably has experience developing in an iterative-based approach, as opposed to waterfall.
? Rapid prototyping for quick Proof of Concept, especially for Rich Internet Applications
? Solid experience on Websphere, Oracle and Unix/Linux.
? Good understanding of SQL
Other Requirements:
? The candidate needs great interpersonal skills to be able to work well in a global team environment with other technologists, as well as technical and non-technical users. He/she will work directly with internal clients (Operations and business analysis) and cross-divisional developers (globally).
? Ability to explain concepts and ideas clearly and concisely to both business partners and developers. Including quick turn-around with mock-ups and demos for review and testing by users.
? Must be able to document the solution (write an IT specification)
? Keen to work on Agile Methodologies, e.g. Test driven development, continuous integration, etc
? Language Level Required: English – Business
? Ability to incorporate strict requirements for adhering to user data entitlements and client sensitivity regulatory requirements.

Project Manager
Responsibilities:
? Lead project teams in the full project life cycle development of application solutions;
? Interface with the onshore Project Manager;
? Verify and confirm project effort estimation and schedule estimation
? Communicate with customers to clarify project requirement and change requirement;
? Identify, resolve, and / or escalate issues with the onshore Project Manager and customer;
? Manage multiple priorities and customer expectations;
? Actively observe deadlines and deliver project results on time;
? Act as the ultimate owner of project performance
Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent or above;
? 8+years of experience in IT industry, with minimum 3 years in IT project management, preferably PMP certification;
? Strong communication skill, good listening skill, good presentation skill;
? Strong resource management skill;
? Experience in leading teams and projects successfully;
? Good team work is a must;
? Work independently under high pressure.
