Sharepoint Senior Developer/Project Leader Job Description:As MOSS Senior Developer the person will be expected to design and develop SharePoint 2007 & 2010 applications and participate in the architectural design, development, customization and integration efforts of enterprise solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Business Process and Forms, Excel Services, Business Data Catalog utilizing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/2010, SharePoint Designer 2007/2010 and Visual Studio 2008/.NET 3.5.Qualification² Must possess a minimum of 5+ years in Microsoft.NET development with a minimum of 3+ years of SharePoint technical lead and architecture experience on enterprise initiatives² Must possess advanced knowledge of business workflows and have an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Nintex Workflow 2007, SharePoint Server 2007 and SharePoint Designer 2007² Should have a significant experience in designing and implementing SharePoint sites and workflows² Should have development experience with JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX technologies² Should have development experience with SharePoint specific technologies (e.g. SP Object Model, SP Web Services, XSLT, CAML etc.)² Should have experience of configuration, deployment and maintenance and SP applications (configuration, back up, restore and template manipulation)² Should be able to perform code reviews and recommend best practices for code² Should be able to recommend best practices for code reuse, better scalability, performance and availability² Should be able to control quality of application development by making sure the architecture and development guidelines/rules are followed² Should have the ability to understand different architectures, diagnose and resolve any security issue² Should be able to provide accurate effort estimation for new applications and existing development team workload² Stay abreast of the development methodologies and technical solutions and enhancements (e.g. VSTO add-ins for Outlook etc.) ² Should have prior project management or team lead experience on SharePoint implementationsMinimum Requirements² Excellent verbal and written communication skills between both the customer and all levels within the organization are required
