How to search in Rational DOORS object discussions

How do you search an entire object discussion in an IBM Rational DOORS module?

View Object Discussions window shows discussions only for one object. You need to go though each object to search. There is no search capability available in this window.

You can add the discussion column to the current view, then you can search in the column.
Steps:
1. Open a module and click Edit > Columns

2. Click New

3. Select Discussion in New Column - DOORS window and click Browse

4. Select a DXL which shows discussions you want to search, for example, Display all discussions and all comments and click OK

5. Click Insert, then the new column should show discussion data

6. Select Edit > Search to search in the new column

Note:Filter or Sort is not available for the discussion column.
