The BI applicatioins is developed on different technologies including Oracle Hyperion, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Savvion, Data stage, J2EE, Oracle DBA, and Backbase.
The role for this position is to provide managed service to client, including such as trouble shooting, maintenance, monitoring, application enhancement, etc. ""
· Provide production support services
· Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 application issues captured as help desk tickets
· Support and maintain customizations and break-fix modifications made to delivered application functionality
· Application security administration - add users, change user permissions, inactivate users
· Communicate directly with endusers in regards to resolution of help desk tickets
· Communicate directly with other vendor and third party support teams to troubleshoot and resolve application integration issues
· Update client's Sustain tools following client's processes and standards
· Perform technical development work associated with application minor enhancements - technical design, development, unit test planning and execution, system test planning and execution, user acceptance test support, production deployment
Key requirement
· BS/MS degree in CS or comparable technical field.
· 5+ years experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or software development, with 5+ years developing BI applications using DataStage 7.5.1 w/ Parallel Extender Strong BI background Good troubleshooting skills in the area of BI environment The ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly. Good command of written and spoken English is a must. Experience with Oracle DBMS , DB2 ( mainframe) would be a plus system Administrative and development experience
