Roles& Responsibilities

? Respond to customer requests for support with a friendly and professionalcustomer service attitude, and solve IT problems for them.
? Update and maintain documentation and team knowledge base.
? Handle hardware problems related to Server, Storage, Workstation,Desktop, Laptop, Phone, Printer, Scanner and etc.
? Coordinate with Dell, HP, Netapp, AMEX, Lenovo and other hardware vendorsto fix hardware problems.
? Perform troubleshooting for out-of-warranty devices.
? Perform data recovery for storage disks.
? Support installation, troubleshooting and administration to computer,server, phone and network.
? Provide software support assistance to customers.
? Image desktop/laptop/workstation and servers with proper OS andsoftware.
? Perform network trouble shooting, configuration and maintenance.
? Provide Computer equipment relocation service within the officebuilding.
? Provide Computer Room daily operations according to procedure documentedby client.
? Provide Asset Management, i.e. to maintain IT software and hardwareinventory.
? Provide project rollout implementation and support.
? Execute Ad-hoc IT-related tasks.
? Provide support for new Microsoft hardware and software products andservices once it becomes available internally in Microsoft.
? Help customers to meet their business needs with the appropriatetechnology.
? IT Asset Management including hardware and software.

Qualifications:

? Software troubleshooting skills for software, such as Microsoft Office,Matlab, Altiris, Ultra-edit, Windows client and Server, and etc.
? Understand Windows server, AD, WINS, DNS, DHCP.
? Trouble Shooting Skills for server, storage, workstation, desktop,laptop, Windows phone, printer, scanner and etc.
? Understand disk fault tolerant, backups.
? Solid experience and skills in providing desk-side support services anduser administration support.
? Understand Microsoft WDS, MDT and imaging tools.
? Ability to learn new technologies fast! Passionate of learning newtechnologies and skills. We often work with research prototypes andtechnologies that are brand new.
? Fair written and oral English.
? Excellent customer service attitude and communication skills.
? Good problem solving skill, productive and focus.
? BA degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
? Three or more year’s hands-on IT support related experience.
? MCSE, CCNA, MCDBA is a plus.
